IBES 2024 Daycare Teacher Graduation
On October 26th, 2024, we celebrated a significant milestone: the graduation of our dedicated 2024 class of daycare teacher trainees. The day began early at 11 a.m. as graduates, parents, directors, alumni, and guests gathered in our beautiful IBES Events Garden, ready for a day filled with pride, gratitude, and joy.
As guests settled into their sections—parents, directors from daycare and secondary schools, alumni, and current teachers—we opened with a heartfelt prayer, setting a tone of unity and thankfulness. Following this, we introduced our graduates and honored guests, including distinguished directors from various daycares and primary schools. These introductions gave everyone a sense of the supportive network behind our graduates.
One of the highlights was a short workshop on best practices in daycare education. We shared some practical tips on using learning centers to teach and engage children, demonstrating how these spaces can enhance the trainees’ future classrooms. Guests of honors participated in a short quiz, where one standout activity involved recognizing songs using musical instruments—a fun exercise that rewarded participants with certificates of appreciation.
Entertainment was provided by our talented current trainees, who brought energy to the event with a dance performance. Following the entertainment, we moved on to the much-anticipated cake-cutting ceremony. It was an extra special moment as one of our graduates celebrated her birthday that day! She and our director, Marion, cut the cake together, feeding each other before sharing with the graduates and guests. But just before the cake, we honored each graduate with their certificates, capturing these proud moments with photos.
The ceremony ended with the classic cap toss, a joyful celebration of our graduates’ achievements, followed by some spontaneous dancing. To conclude the day, all graduates, guests, and families gathered for a celebratory lunch, bringing the event to a fulfilling close.
