Because Love Begins with Family

On 14th February, while the world was celebrating love, we celebrated it in the most meaningful way through family. This year’s event was proudly called Family Day – Season 2, built around a simple but powerful message: love begins with family.

With a total of 229 participants, the day was filled with warmth, laughter and genuine connection. From the moment families arrived, there was a beautiful sense of togetherness that carried us through the entire celebration.

Children enjoyed energetic and playful games that kept them active and excited throughout the day. Parents were not left out — they fully embraced the activities, showing teamwork, enthusiasm and a wonderful spirit of fun.

What made the day truly special was seeing families laugh, encourage one another and create memories side by side. It was a celebration of love in its purest form, the love that begins at home.

We are already looking forward to Family Day – Season 3 in 2027 and cannot wait to make it even bigger, more exciting and full of even more beautiful moments together.

Below are the picture highlights from this unforgettable day.

At the heart of Maji ya Chai, something magical unfolded a day filled with pride, joy and the kind of warmth only children can bring. Parents began arriving at IBES Daycare – Maji ya Chai Main Branch, gathering first for the annual closing meeting. It was a moment for reflection, appreciation and planning for an even brighter future. Parents shared their thoughts and together they strengthened the partnership that has always made IBES feel more like a family than a school.

When the meeting ended, the atmosphere shifted the long-awaited Graduation Ceremony was finally here. Excitement filled the air as more parents, including families from other IBES branches, took their seats. As the ceremony opened, children proudly stepped forward to lead everyone in the Tanzania National Anthem, their voices soft but confident, creating a beautiful beginning for what would become an unforgettable day.

Directors Marion and Gabriel soon took the mic, welcoming everyone with warmth and gratitude. They introduced the dedicated teachers and staff the people who guide, teach, comfort and celebrate the children every single day. Parents received heartfelt recognition for the trust they place in IBES, a gesture that brought smiles across the room.

Then the real magic began.

The youngest learners the adorable Elephant Class were the first to take the stage, performing “The Little Dog.” Their tiny steps, shy smiles, and brave hearts melted the entire audience. Soon after, the Zebra Class continued the energy with lively presentations, including a fun drama that had parents laughing and cheering. Their confidence showed just how much they’ve grown.

The performances continued to build, each class leaving its own mark. The Giraffe Class filled the room with music, their songs echoing beautifully as parents recorded every moment.

A special moment came when the children showcased live story reading, giving parents a glimpse of how well they are developing academically. The room grew quiet as young voices read confidently, demonstrating the strong foundation they’ve built at IBES.

Then came a touching reminder of just how far the IBES family extends. Alumni from different schools some already in secondary school returned to share short speeches. Their words carried gratitude, pride and memories of the place where their educational journey began. Listening to them felt like watching the future speak.

As emotions filled the room, all Lion Class students from all four IBES branches came together for a heartfelt goodbye song to the graduates. Then, in true IBES tradition, the event transitioned into something festive a beautifully prepared Christmas Play created by Director Marion. Teachers and children performed side by side, filling the room with laughter and holiday spirit.

When Marion returned to the stage for her speech, her words tied everything together, the growth, the challenges, the achievements and the ongoing promise to give every child the best start possible including by using different modern teaching styles.

Certificates and awards followed, and thrilled children stepped forward to receive them, smiling proudly as parents clapped and cheered and took pictures of them. Soon after, the celebration grew sweeter, literally with a beautifully decorated IBES cake.

Another moment came when children offered handmade gifts to their parents. Little hands stretched forward, and parents accepted with emotion, knowing those small gifts carried big love.

The day ended with a moment of gratitude and calm as a closing prayer brought everyone together one last time. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with meaning.

As families slowly began to leave, laughter, hugs and photos filled the courtyard. Teachers waved goodbye, still holding onto the warmth of everything that had happened.

For parents who dream of giving their child a strong and loving educational foundation, IBES welcomes you. Our four branches — Leganga, Njiro, Ngulelo and Maji ya Chai are now enrolling for 2026.

Enrollment forms are available for ONLY 15,000/= until December 31st.
From January 1st onward, the fee will be 30,000/=.

Give your child a place where they can learn, grow, perform, explore and shine.

On 15 November 2025, the atmosphere at IBES College was filled with excitement, pride and heartfelt celebration as we hosted our Daycare Teacher Training Graduation Ceremony. It was a memorable day that beautifully reflected the spirit, dedication and purpose of our institution.

The morning began with the arrival of guests, headmasters, daycare owners, alumni and parents, who were warmly welcomed into our garden. Soon after, our graduates made their entrance, glowing with confidence and joy as they prepared to celebrate the successful completion of their one-year teacher training course.

We opened our ceremony with prayers, grounding the day in gratitude, followed by a formal introduction of staff, special guests and the guest of honor the distinguished Head of all Daycares in the Arusha Region. Their presence brought great honor and encouragement to our graduates.

One of the highlights of the day was the professional story-reading session, where our students showcased the storytelling techniques they mastered during training. This was followed by testimonies from former students who have already been successfully placed in permanent jobs an achievement we deeply value as a college known for directly connecting our graduates to secure employment opportunities.

The learning continued as we explored different learning styles, reminding everyone of the importance of understanding each child’s unique way of growing and discovering the world.

Another inspiring moment came from a daycare owner and IBES alumna, who shared her journey from student to employer, proving that the foundation built at IBES truly transforms futures. We then enjoyed an engaging puppet-making session and a lively puppet show presented by one of our graduates—pure creativity in action!

Later, another graduate shared her personal testimony, expressing how her experience at IBES shaped her professionally and personally. Her words deeply moved the audience.

The event continued with a powerful speech from the IBES Director (Marion), emphasizing our mission to prepare highly skilled, compassionate and professional daycare teachers. The guest of honor then delivered an inspiring message, encouraging graduates to serve with integrity, love and dedication.

Next came the most anticipated moment: award announcements, certificate distribution, gift presentations, and the celebratory cake-cutting. Smiles and applause filled the air as graduates received their certificates, a symbol not just of completion, but of new beginnings.

A touching surprise came when a proud parent stood up to share his experience. His daughter, trained at IBES and now successfully employed, is thriving and his happiness was the perfect reminder of the impact of quality training and opportunity.

We closed the ceremony with prayers, grateful for the growth of our students, the support of our partners and the trust of families who choose IBES as their home of professional transformation.

This graduation was more than a ceremony—it was a celebration of hope, connection, purpose and the bright futures our graduates are stepping into. We are honored to walk this journey with every student who chooses IBES.

On October 3rd, our little explorers from the Young Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes and Lions (Pre-Primary classes) took part in a joyful Water Festival held at Maji ya Chai branch.

With bright smiles and curious minds, the children got a chance to experience what they learned in class and put it into action. This hands-on approach helped them understand that water is not just something we drink it’s essential for life, health and growth.

After learning and playing, the day ended with a safe and happy swimming session, supervised closely by our dedicated teachers. Safety is always our top priority at IBES because we believe in helping every child grow academically, physically and emotionally in a secure environment.

At IBES Daycare, learning is not confined to books and classrooms, it comes alive through play, exploration, and real-world experiences. On Friday, 26th September, our little learners from Maji ya Chai Branch and Leganga Branch had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate a Water Festival as part of their studies.

The activity was carried out by our groups: the Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, and Lions (Pre-Primary classes). The theme was centered on the uses of water in everyday life, giving children a chance to connect what they study in class with practical experiences.

The day began with exciting water-related games, where children learned in a playful way how essential water is in our daily lives. They discovered how water is used for growing plants, bathing, cleaning, fishing, and many other household needs. Through these activities, they were able to see, touch and practice what they had learned in class.

After the games, the children enjoyed time in the swimming pool, not just for fun, but also to appreciate water as a source of recreation and health. All swimming activities were conducted under the close supervision of teachers to ensure safety and well-being.

The children were very happy and engaged throughout the day and it was clear that they gained a deeper understanding of how water supports life in so many ways. At IBES, we always emphasize hands-on learning because we believe children learn best when they can experience lessons in a real and practical environment.

al was not only educational but also a joyful memory for our learners. At IBES Daycare, we remain committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and holistic environment where children grow physically, mentally, and academically. More Pictures https://ibes73.pixieset.com/waterfestival2692025/

On Friday, August 29th, 2025, IBES Daycare children enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Tarangire National Park. We are truly grateful to our teachers for their teamwork and dedication in ensuring every child was safe and cared for throughout the journey.

Discovering Wildlife and Nature

Inside Tarangire national park, the children had the opportunity to see a variety of animals and natural wonders, including:

  • Elephants
  • Giraffes
  • Zebras
  • Wildebeests
  • VervetI monkeys
  • Ostrich
  • Animal skeletons and bones that helped them learn about the cycle of life in the wild

They also observed different types of trees, which added to their excitement and learning experience.

Learning Through Experience

This trip gave the children a chance to connect classroom knowledge with real-world experiences. They discovered fascinating facts about animal behavior and family structures:

  • Zebras and wildebeests prefer staying together in the same area
  • Elephants live in family groups with a father, mother, and baby elephant, led by a group leader
  • Animals, like humans, have their own families and social groups

Through these observations, the children learned not only about wildlife but also about teamwork, leadership and family values.

A Day to Remember

The trip to Tarangire National Park was full of joy, learning, and unforgettable moments. The children not only identified different animals and their behaviors but also strengthened their understanding of the difference between wild animals and domestic animals.

They truly enjoyed the animals, the river, and the experience of being out in nature. At IBES Daycare, we believe such experiences go beyond fun they shape children into curious, confident and responsible learners.

On Thursday, August 28th, 2025, IBES Daycare children had the wonderful opportunity to visit Arusha National Park for an exciting and educational trip. We sincerely thank all our teachers for their teamwork and commitment in ensuring that every child was safe and fully engaged throughout the day.

A Day of Joy and Exploration

The children were thrilled to see wildlife up close and enjoy the beauty of nature. Among the animals they spotted were giraffes, monkeys, warthogs and deer, each sparking curiosity and excitement. They also admired the park’s breathtaking landscapes and were fascinated by the Momella River, which quickly became one of the highlights of the trip.

At the entrance, the children were especially drawn to the elephant statue, which captured their attention and gave them a memorable welcome to the park.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

This trip provided a perfect chance for the children to connect classroom knowledge with real-world experiences. They were able to:

  • Differentiate between wild animals and domestic animals
  • Observe animal behaviors and habitats directly
  • Learn about trees and plants, including species that naturally grow on top of other trees and the unique “mouse plant” with its striking green leaves
  • Put classroom lessons into practice by seeing in reality what they had previously studied in books

Being face-to-face with animals and plants allowed the children to strengthen their understanding, memory and ability to describe their experiences with confidence.

A Memorable Experience

The Arusha National Park trip was more than just a fun outing, it was an opportunity for growth, learning and building memories that the children will carry with them for a long time. At IBES Daycare, we believe that such practical experiences help shape children into curious, responsible and confident individuals.

Last Friday July 25, 2025, IBES Daycare hosted a vibrant and joyful Sports & Fun Day bringing together all our branches Njiro, Leganga, Ngulelo and Maji ya Chai for one unforgettable event. The children, along with their teachers, gathered at our main branch in Maji ya Chai to enjoy a day full of laughter, unity, and purposeful play.

The goal of this event was to create a space where children could learn through play, build friendships across branches and enjoy time outside the classroom in a positive, healthy environment. And that goal was absolutely achieved!.

What Made the Day Special?
The children participated in a variety of games and activities that supported both their physical and mental development;

  • Free play in the playground
  • A fun blindfold game to find a hidden ball
  • Tug of war (full of energy and teamwork!)
  • Group storytelling sessions led by teachers
  • Interactive games involving both teachers and children

It was heartwarming to see all the children playing together without any barriers or divisions. The joyful atmosphere was filled with laughter, encouragement and creativity. Teachers were fully involved, guiding the children, joining in the fun and even telling stories that captured every child’s attention.

Why It Matters
This special day went beyond just fun it supported several key areas of child development:

  • Boosting mental and emotional growth
  • Encouraging creativity and self-expression
  • Teaching teamwork, discipline, and responsibility
  • Helping children build positive social skills
  • Improving physical health and motor skills through active play

Children were well taken care of throughout the day, enjoying breakfast and lunch served on time and many moments were captured in beautiful photographs memories they will surely cherish.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the teachers who made this day possible with their dedication and active participation. Their presence and enthusiasm made the event even more special for the children.

This Sports & Fun Day was a true celebration of unity, learning, joy, and growth just the kind of experience we value at IBES Daycare!.

Our eldest group of learners had the thrilling opportunity to visit Arusha Airport and explore the world of air travel up close.

For many of our children, this was their very first time seeing real airplanes, watching them land and take off, and experiencing the organized environment of an airport. The excitement was contagious — wide eyes, endless questions, and pure amazement filled the day!

This real-life exposure helped our children understand how air travel works and sparked big dreams in little minds. From learning how passengers board planes to seeing the hard work of airport staff, every part of the trip turned into a learning opportunity.

We are deeply thankful to the Arusha Airport team for their warm welcome and support. Your openness and kindness gave our children an experience they’ll talk about for a long time and maybe even planted seeds for future pilots, engineers, or travelers!

At IBES, we believe in learning by doing and this trip was a powerful example of that philosophy in action.

Highlights of the Day:
Exploring Arusha Airport
Seeing airplanes take off and land
Learning how airports operate
Experiencing the wonder of air travel
Real-life inspiration for future dreams

At IBES Daycare, we bring learning to life through real-world experiences and our recent train adventure was nothing short of magical! As part of our ongoing topic on means of transport, our older group of learners got to explore one of the most fascinating ways to travel: by train.

Thanks to the support of the Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC), our children had a unique opportunity to visit the train station, see real trains up close, and even enjoy a short, guided ride.

The excitement on their faces as the train pulled in was priceless. From hearing the whistle blow to stepping aboard the train, it was a completely new experience for most of them. They asked curious questions, observed the surroundings, and enjoyed every moment of this special journey.

Trips like this are more than just fun they help children connect what they learn in class with the world around them. We are incredibly grateful to TRC for opening their doors and making this day possible. Your support played a big role in creating a meaningful memory for these young minds.

Highlights of the Day:
Visiting the TRC train station
Seeing trains in action
A real train ride experience
Boosting curiosity and confidence
Connecting classroom learning to the real world
