Daycare Teachers Training

Starting date of the certificate course: May and September

Since 2013, IBES has been dedicated to preparing students to become professional daycare teachers in Tanzania. Our founder, Marion Hasselaar, is originally from the Netherlands and a qualified social pedagogue.

Marion and her team have developed a unique training program that combines both Tanzanian and European teaching methods. This approach gives our graduates the skills and confidence to work successfully in a variety of childcare environments.

Thanks to our strong reputation, many IBES students receive job offers even before completing their studies. To set a standard of excellence, IBES has established several model daycare centers showcasing how a high-quality daycare should operate. These centers also provide students with valuable hands-on experience through field assignments in professional, well-equipped settings.

Field Assignments

Hands-on experience is essential in this field, as children’s behavior and learning styles vary depending on their age and environment. At IBES, we ensure our students gain real-world exposure through field assignments in our own Daycare & Nursery Schools as well as other carefully selected partner centers and organizations.

During these placements, students are closely supervised and guided as they put their theoretical knowledge into practice through lesson plans and engaging activities. Each field assignment is designed to help you develop your skills, adapt to different learning environments, and gain the confidence needed to excel as a professional daycare or nursery teacher.
